What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a non-surgical fractional treatment that uses microneedles to deliver radiofrequency beneath the skin. Providing controlled damage promotes skin healing, reduces wrinkles, and rebuilds new collagen lost in our skin over the years.

Morpheus8 works similarly to microneedling procedures, which use small needles to puncture the skin to create new collagen and tissue for smoother, tighter, and more toned skin.

Although functioning like a microneedling device, Morpheus8's 24 coated pins penetrate into the subdermal tissue, thickening fat and tightening connective tissue to contour and firm the treated area rather than puncturing the skin. This device also incorporates radiofrequency to trigger collagen and elastin production at a deeper level than microneedling can reach.

Additionally, Morpheus8 treatment provides consistent results for all skin types without causing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a risk associated with some surface rejuvenation techniques.

How is Morpheus8 applied?

Before the procedure, topical anesthetic cream is applied to the area(s) of the face the patient wants to improve. Then Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy through microneedles to transmit radiofrequency energy on the surface of the skin. The radiofrequency device has tips at various depths. The doctor selects the tips and pins depending on the area.
